Lancaster Spring ArtWalk – April 17 & 18, 2010
After such a long, cold, snow filled winter, the sun is finally shinning on Lancaster PA. The wind blowing through town no longer has the harsh chill that stings but a warm soft feeling of spring. All of this is just in time for the Spring ArtWalk in downtown Lancaster. This year marks the 26th Annual ArtWalk. Local Artists will be opening their studios wide to let the spring air and warm guests into their studios on the weekend. Come out enjoy the spring sun and visit with your favorite local artists or find a new piece or art that you just can’t leave the gallery without.
Start your day early on Saturday and check out the Lancaster Central Market, then walk around the many galleries. After spending time picking out your favorite artwork there are many great locations downtown to stop and grab a quick bite or a nice dinner. The choices range from a sweet treat from The Fractured Prune or beer and burger at The Lancaster Dispensing Company to a fine dinning selection at The Pressroom.
